Decaf Coffees There are two distinct ways to decaffeinate coffee: Swiss Water Process and European Process. Opinions differ as to which process is preferred. Both processes remove at least 97% of the naturally occurring caffeine from the beans. The majority of our decaffeinated coffees are decaffeinated in Hamburg, Germany using the MC Water Method (the European process).
